BapUp was founded on March 12, 2013, in a small apartment in Manhattan, New York and is now a holding company with many worldwide subsidiaries spanning from artificial intelligence solutions to clothing manufacturers. We expect to close the next round of investment in a few months to further expand our global presence.
We started as a design agency. Our BapUp artisans designed many award-winning minimalistic luxury products. Then we acquired production facilities to make customizations for our select customers and to curtail production costs for lower selling prices. With vertical integrations, it became possible for us to make our luxuries available for everyone to own.
Starting in 2015, our international expansion has never slowed down. Our subsidiaries worldwide including those in North America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East became an essential part of your customer experience.
In Fall 2017, it became apparent that we were lack of the most cutting-edge technologies to provide the customer shopping experience. Therefore, we asked for and listened to much advice from customers like you. We then entered into a joint technology venture with major financial institutions to back our global supply chain with blockchain, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence. We are also working with major brands and other creative agencies to make affordable design luxuries democratized for everyone.
