Business Description

From an early age, through a shared exposure to National Trust houses and historical sites with over-eager parents, both Tobias and Nick were introduced to architecture in its many forms, styles and scales.

Now, with extensive experience of working on historic, listed and contemporary buildings, in conservation settings and areas of outstanding natural beauty, we have projects spanning the Cotswolds, Warwickshire, Wiltshire, Bath, North Somerset, Bristol, Dorset, West Sussex and London.

Clients include private individuals, schools and businesses as well as the Goodwood Estate, the Shaftesbury Estate and the Belmont Estate.

We believe that we can continue to learn from traditional building techniques and natural materials which are often adaptable, create long term value and resilience, and improve both the quality of life for their occupants and of their locations.

We give careful consideration to the provenance of products and materials and endeavour to source those that create the minimum environmental impact in their manufacture, lifetime, and future re-use.

We seek to include and enhance the biodiversity of sites, consider ways to maximise the efficiency of the processes involved in projects, eliminate waste where possible and look to incorporate micro-renewable technologies – liaising with specialist consultants to investigate the most appropriate and efficient solutions.
