The Beginning
Art and Gems is a third generation family jewelry business. Art & Gems was founded in 1983 and we make custom designed jewelry, jewelry repair, and have our own jewelry line. The owner has been in the jewelry business since 1969 and today Art & Gems operates as a father and son small business. We do not believe that geeks should have to settle for jewelery that is painted, plastic, mass produced overseas, or all three. All of our jewelry is made in the USA by hand and we have jewelry from this website delivered to 6 out of 7 continents (or 7 out of 8, if Zealandia counts as a continent).
We’ve cold called some penguins, in an attempt to get all of the world’s continents, but that Antarctica remains elusive.
Deeper Meaning
The goal of our designs is create jewelry of a common interest that may have brought you and your significant other together. What our customers want is to get the ring that best fits their relationship. Our jewelry is always looking at a deeper meaning behind the design. We want jewelry to tell a story and we feel like we’ve accomplished this.
