Okra Hong Kong is composed of 2 floors. The Kitchen, a casual Izakaya, focusing on artisanal products made in house and craft sake. And the Bar, upstairs, where we serve a sushi Omakase only. The food and environments are different and we do not kriss kross.
Okra Kitchen is a very casual izakaya in the Sai Ying Pun neighborhood of Hong Kong specializing in flavorful charcoal grilled meats and fish as well as sashimi. Our focus is on natural sakes, because thats all we drink! All of our ingredients are natural and are produced exclusively for us or come from producers that we know and trust, because thats the way that we eat!
Okra Bar is an hidden sushi bar above Okra Kitchen in Hong Kong's fish market neighborhood of Sai Ying Pun. Only sushi omakase, meaning chef's choice of seasonal and hand made ingredients, is served. Fish and seafood come from a variety of locales with a strong significance placed on Fukuoka, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
