Distillery

Our production began in the basement of a terraced house in Burnley, Lancashire. We are still based in the same town but now distill our spirits in a renovated mill. Batch supplies the boutique supermarket, Booths, and countless bars and restaurants across the country. Today we continue to experiment with flavours and recipes to bring you new and interesting spirits.

"SUM" refers to the well-traveled youths of owners Jessica, a professional racecar driver, and Steve, the son of a famous radio personality. Influenced by their global travels, recipes comprised of fresh, locally sourced (whenever possible) ingredients paired with heartfelt cooking are the foundation of Sum Pig "PIG" not only refers to our delicious smoked meats, but our portion sizes as well. We encourage our valued customers, who we affectionately refer to as friends, to PIG OUT! We strive to place a smile on your face and leave your hunger a distant memory. The idea of ProductofItaly.com was born while visiting and studying in the US. As all Italians abroad I was looking for traditional food and specialties from my Country, my region, my city. I didn’t like what I found. I was able to find the Italian flag printed on so many grocery products, but after a closer look at the label, ingredients and the production site there was nothing Italian in those products other than the flag on the packaging.
