Quorum (Governance)

What is Quorum (Governance)

The number of attendees at a meeting who must be part of the quorum for official business to be conducted is known as a quorum in governance.

Theoretically, a meeting without a quorum could still proceed, but no significant decisions could be made. The most it can typically do is schedule a future meeting in the hopes that a quorum will be reached then.
