Nominators
What are Nominators?
In a blockchain network that employs the nominated proof-of-stake (NPoS) consensus mechanism, validators and nominators are the two major actors.
In typical proof-of-stake (PoS) networks, an entity’s ability to mine or validate network transactions is entirely dependent on the quantity of network tokens it currently holds. The more network tokens a miner or validator has, the more computing power they have. The same authority is employed in many decision-making situations and is frequently utilized in governance roles, such as when validators vote on recommendations for the network’s future growth.
