What is Optimistic Oracle?
An optimistic oracle is a particular kind of oracle (an entity that links blockchains to the outside world) that provides real-world data to a distributed system. If there are no objections to the data, it is assumed to be correct. With the aim of making global markets universally fair, accessible, secure, and decentralized, the optimistic oracle, dubbed a “human-powered truth machine”, seeks to bring flexibility and unleash Web3’s boundless potential.
