Hierarchical Deterministic Wallet (HD Wallet)

What is Hierarchical Deterministic Wallet (HD Wallet)?

A digital wallet called a hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallet is frequently used to store the cryptographic keys of people who own cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The cryptocurrency in the account may be managed by anybody who has a copy of both the public and password-like private keys.

With the use of an HD wallet, a number of key pairs may be generated from a single random seed, offering both high levels of security and simplicity.
