What is Timestamp
Timelock, also known as locktime, is a cryptocurrency limitation mechanism that establishes a specific amount of time or block height for a transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain network. Consider this to be transaction scheduling functionality.
Simply defined, timelocks are a type of smart contract primitive that prevents miners from fully or partially validating a particular transaction unless certain requirements are met.
