Esports
Digital gaming competitions are referred to as esports or electronic sports. Depending on the type of game, players compete either alone or in teams in regional or national contests for a title and awards, which are frequently monetary. Some esports event prize pools can reach hundreds or even millions of dollars.
Esports are often broadcast live on online gaming platforms or, in some circumstances, on TV, similar to how traditional sports are. Esports athletes are compensated for their gaming prowess through sponsorship agreements and publicity. Online or LAN tournaments are both options. Several esports venues have been constructed to provide spectators with a live competition experience.
