Group Mining

What is Group Mining?

Group mining is the act of several individuals or organizations combining their computer resources in order to mine collectively. The goal of this is to increase mining profitability, distribute rewards, and reduce security concerns.

When a block is successfully mined by the mining pool, everyone in the group pools their processing power (measured in hash rate) and splits the block rewards. The payment for a member of a group mining operation will depend on how much processing power that person supplied in comparison to the other miners.
