Malware
What is Malware?
Malicious software that threat actors install on victims’ computers is known as crypto malware, sometimes referred to as crypto-mining malware. It enables threat actors to mine bitcoins secretly utilizing the victim’s processing power.
This is sometimes referred to as “cryptojacking”, when victims suffer considerable losses in terms of computing resources and processing power without receiving any compensation. An organization-wide cryptojacking attempt that is successful might result in huge payouts for the cybercriminals.
