Market capitalization (or market cap) is the sum of the monetary values of all the shares of a company’s stock, or, in the case of a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin or another, the total worth of all the minted coins. The market cap of a cryptocurrency is determined by dividing the total coins ever created by the price of a single coin at any particular moment.
