Paul Le Roux
Some people speculate that the mysterious Paul Le Roux is indeed Satoshi Nakamoto. Le Roux is a cryptographer, a leader in global organized crime, and a former DEA informant. Le Roux was adopted by a young couple who eventually emigrated to South Africa. Le Roux was born in Zimbabwe in 1972 to unidentified parents. He developed a keen interest in computers as a young man, quickly learned how to program, and got employment as a programmer in the UK, the US, and Australia. E4M (Encryption for the Masses), a piece of encryption software created by Paul Le Roux, was intended to increase disk storage privacy for the general population.
Paul committed several crimes including weapon smuggling, drug dealing, murders, etc. Eventually, he was arrested, and in 2020 was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
