Proof-of-validation (PoV) is a special proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus technique that uses staked validator nodes to reach consensus. A PoV system’s nodes each maintain a complete copy of the transactional history included in each block that is added to the blockchain. The public key of a user and the crypto token that a node possesses can then be used to identify a copy of all user accounts.
