What is Put Option
Cryptocurrency put options are agreements that grant the option buyer the right—but not the obligation—to sell a certain quantity of the underlying asset at a defined price within a specified window of time. The striking price is the predetermined price.
The period of time during which the options contract is still valued is known as the “expiration time”. The put option is worthless when the expiration period has elapsed.
