What is Redundancy

The term “redundancy” describes an element’s needless excess. It covers a wide range of disciplines, including computing, communications, and cryptography. Redundancy is the term used to represent additional data or features that might not be required beyond the potential to step in if the primary feature breaks down or malfunctions.
