Market Order/Market Buy/Market Sell
What is Market Order/Market Buy/Market Sell?
A market order is a directive from an investor to a broker to purchase or dispose of stock, bonds, or other assets at the best price currently offered on the financial market.
Most of the time, it is the default option for purchasing and selling for investors. If the asset is a well-known exchange-traded fund (ETF) or a large-cap company, there will be many interested buyers and sellers available. This indicates that a market order will be fulfilled almost immediately and at a price that is extremely close to the most recent posted price that the investor may see.
