Mid Cap
What is Mid Cap?
Corporations having a market valuation (capitalization) between $2 and $10 billion are referred to as mid-cap (or mid-capitalization) companies. A mid-cap corporation, as its name suggests, is in between large-cap (or big-cap) and small-cap firms. A company’s current valuation is approximated by classifications like large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap; as such, they may vary over time.
