What is Money Market?
A segment of the financial market where financial instruments with high liquidity and short maturities are exchanged is referred to as the “money market”. The money market has developed into a segment of the financial market for the buying and selling of assets with short maturities, such as treasury bills and commercial papers, of one year or less.
The money market is where over-the-counter trading takes place, and it is a massive operation. The participants utilize it as a short-term borrowing and lending method.
