Decentralized Identifier (DID)

What is Decentralized Identifier (DID)?

A new class of identifiers called a decentralized identifier (DID) allows for the creation of a verified, decentralized digital identity. A DID can be any topic that the DID’s controller chooses (e.g., a person, group, object, data model, abstract entity, etc.).
