Double Spend Attack
What is Double Spend Attack?
A double-spend attack is an issue specific to digital currencies where one person can spend the same digital asset more than once. End users can easily replicate digital information, therefore this is feasible. A technique to prevent double-spend attacks has been put into place on the Bitcoin blockchain and was inspired by the conventional currency system. It is a confirmation system that keeps a blockchain “chronologically ordered” beginning with the first registered action in 2009.
