What is Contract Account?

A contract account, which is used in the area of cryptocurrencies, is an account with an Ether (crypto) balance and associated code, the execution of which is triggered by messages or transactions that are received from other contracts. They can also modify their own persistent storage, which has its own permanent state and can make calls to other contracts, as well as operations of arbitrary complexity when they are executed.
