What is Settlement
On an order-book-based DEX, settlement is the act of executing limit or market orders by a user. When the orders are executed, the monies or assets are moved to the wallet linked to the trade order while waiting for the deal to complete. Users must consent in order to add back the assets processed from the trade orders into the crypto wallet when these trades are finished through a settlement process.
For traders who execute several orders quickly, a good UX and UI are crucial for simplifying the settlement of monies from trade orders.
