What is Software Library

A software library is a collection of code snippets or routines that can be used again and again when creating new software applications. Utilizing software libraries speeds up the process of writing new code and helps identify efficiencies that make it easier to write programs.

Software libraries come in a variety of forms and are mostly used to store different sorts of code. A software library’s function may vary depending on whether it is used for data manipulation, front- or back-end development, or more general programming exercises.

The libraries differ according to the stored programming language. While JavaScript libraries contain “cheat codes” that make the code more effective, CSS libraries hold code relating to design and web development.
